2026 Candidate Endorsements

The Wabanaki Alliance has released its endorsements for this election cycle. The Alliance has spent months reviewing answers to its legislative questionnaire, culling over voting records, and interviewing candidates. 

“The candidates we have endorsed have tribal issues at the forefront of their legislative priorities. We are excited for their support in the 133rd legislature,” said Wabanaki Alliance Executive Director, Maulian Bryant. 

The Process: Wabanaki Alliance have a set of criteria for endorsing incumbent legislators who are up for re-election. These candidates’ endorsements are based on their voting record in the 132nd legislature. Candidates who are not incumbents filled out our legislative questionnaire. Based on their answers is how the Alliance determined whether to endorse or not. Those who are not incumbents and did not fill out the questionnaire were not considered for endorsement.
